GUITAR RIG has reached version 3.2.0 and now includes full Windows Vista 64-bit support. This free update benefits all flavors of GUITAR RIG 3 software, including XE and LE versions. 64-bit driver support for RIG KONTROL 2 and 3 as well as for the GUITAR RIG. Does No one here use Guitar Rig 4? I have also noticed since upgrading to 4, that every time I go in to the Service Center it keeps having me update these 2 updates over and over. Thing is, this is what NI did twice before with Rig Kontrol 1 and 2. I agree: hardware that is tied to software is garbage the second the software is no longer a big seller. It's the eventual consequence of trying to replace lots of hardware with a software package that's supposed to be 'cheaper'. 4.3.2 Using the RIG KONTROL as your Default Audio Interface. 7.2.1 Driver Issues. I am planning on buying a new laptop very soon. I'm an engineering student and due to my major I pretty much have to get a PC (Mac has many incompatibilities with some of my academic software). I also DJ - anyone have experience running Traktor Pro 2.5 with a Kontrol S2 on Windows 8 and USB 3.0 ports? I looked through some forums and it seems like USB 3.0 doesn't work too well with Traktor S2 (blue screen of death / audio driver issues). I'm also not sure if there any driver issues with Windows 8 and traktor / s2 (Vista is TERRIBLE with Traktor pro). Anybody with experience running this software / hardware on a Windows 8 PC (and/or uses USB 3.0 ports). Thanks!

Edit: My line 'Vista is TERRIBLE with Traktor pro' comes from personal problems. I'm sure it works in many cases. For me however, I installed it 3 times and had audio driver issues. Then installed Traktor on a friends computer (windows 7 and it worked). Then I upgraded the same laptop from vista to windows 7 and it worked like a charm. Sorry I didn't qualify my blanket statement.
